At Focused Events we like to come up with new ideas and try new things in addition to our successful track day format. These will usually have a spinning icon next to them when listed on the home page. Below are a few snippets of the "special events" we are holding this year:
Dawn till Dusk
These are excellent value for money. It's a "day event" and an "evening event" rolled into one great price (that's approx. ten sessions). These are being held on the superb Silverstone GP circuit. This is a long circuit that does take a lot of practice to master. Events like these are a great opportunity to take things steady and build up both your confidence, skills and knowledge. New for 2008 the Dawn till dusk will also be available at Snetterton & Donington.
Chequered Flag Days
At each of the above events, we will be laying on lots experienced instructors, whose services will be available for you to use all day……and even better, they will are totally FREE of charge. There will be 5-6 riders per each instructor on track so you will learn lots about riding on track and the best lines around the circuit, body positioning etc. The day will contain a special briefing, lots of both on and off track tuition and plenty of time to put the theory into practice. There will also be suspension set-up support on-hand to ensure the optimum set-up of your bike as well as full Pirelli/Metzeler tyre support and a trackside photographer taking snaps of you all in action!
Loire Valley Experience
Day 1 will start with a trip down to the picturesque Loire Valley, and day 2 will be a fantastic day down and back to the Auvergne region..... the roads will be awesome and so will be the scenery, especially in the Auvergne, where you will be riding twisties through a volcanic park in the afternoon. We can assure you that when it comes to riding in France that you will experience all the great things you heard about taking you bike abroad. The French adventure starts on the morning of the 10th of May 2008. Riders cost £350. Pillions can go for £125. More details available on the page on the left
Feisty Day
This is a ladies day AND ONLY THEY ARE ALLOWED TO RUN IN THE NOVICE GROUP HOWEVER PARTNERS AND FRIENDS ARE NOW WELCOME in the other groups. So it is time for the women to take over! We will be running three groups as normal and to look after you we have all our female instructors coming along. This is a perfect opportunity for all lady bikers to get together without those smelly boys getting in the way! There will be loads of attractions and stands organized by those Feisty girls.
