FOCUSED EVENTS GOES CHRONO!

‘CHRONO DAYS’ COME TO THE UK AFTER EXTENSIVE TRANSPONDER TESTING AT OUR EUROPEAN EVENTS, A MOVE WHICH WILL ENHANCE THE ENJOYMENT AND SMOOTH RUNNING OF TRACKDAYS.

We have been testing this for the past 6 months at our European events and the feedback we received from you was a resounding ‘YES’. We are currently rolling this out at selected car events this year to ADD a new aspect to your trackday.

Once again at Focused Events we bring you something new and this time it even comes with a cup of tea and a bacon sandwich. On these special new ‘Chrono’ days all cars will be fitted with a transponder. The day after the event drivers will automatically be posted a record of their day! This gives all the drivers an extra aspect to the trackday and makes the event even more fun!

Timing Transponders - How it works:

You will need a transponder bracket on your car but do not worry if not we can supply one for a modest fee of £2. A small rechargeable transponder is easily fitted to your car and works in conjunction with our timing system at the track and at the start/finish line.

Every time you zip past the timing point on the start/finish line, your individually coded transponder sends a signal to a detector on the track and our system records your lap time and lap counts.

This provides useful information for us which we can use to build an accurate picture of the drivers on the event and how things are going.

In the morning, after you have signed on as normal, you will then go to the fitting area.

The small removeable clip can be kept to make things even quicker the next time round.
