We have brand new sparkly Hire Cars which are superb to drive round the race tracks of the UK. Everyone that gets in these car's are impressed with there handling and stoppping capabilities!
Simon is an excellent instructor and has years of experience getting the best out of his pupils on track.
In addition to being an ARDS qualified instructor, Simon is a Dunlop race academy winner and they were so impressed with him that he is now one of their judges! He is the 2009 Sportmax cup champion with four wins out of nine races. He was the class B championship winner in 2007 and is an official Dunlop tyre tester.
This package is available at any of our events. You will definitely need to book in advance to check availability. This is a great fun opportunity that will improve your car handling skills no end. Faster and safer!
Personal On-Track Instruction
We have personal Instruction available at all our trackdays in your own car. Using only the best instructors available giving our customers help in many areas, whether it be braking points, lines or just building their confidence, from complete novices to experienced drivers, there is always something to be learnt no matter what level you are.
Receving instruction will let you get the most out of your car safely. Mastering the cornering and braking behaviour of your car will make your trackday much more enjoyable. Learning how to see the lines through the corner. Throttle control, gear changes, brake use and the balance of the car are fundamental skills that need practice and knowledge and ARDS instructors will lead the way so so you can get there quicker!
All of the skills you develop on track will directly translate to the skills you use on the road. The instruction you receive will make you more aware of how your car behaves at speed and what to do to control it. If you find yourself in trouble on the road (maybe the road conditions have caught you out, or mis-judged a corner) you will be much more prepared and stand a far greater chance of recovering the car.
The instructor will come into your car with you. Instructing is done in twenty minute sessions throughout the day and can either be for anyone new to trackdays, someone learning a new circuit or a more advanced level of driving. A good idea would be to have a session in both morning and afternoon which would allow the instructor to see how you are progressing. Sessions are best booked prior to the event to avoid disappointment but some spaces may come available on the day.
Instruction session is £25 per session.
